Telephone Line

So I was at the post office this morning, picking up the business mail from our PO Box, and this woman walks in.  She’s in the middle of a conversation on her cell phone and she’s speaking loudly.  Very loudly.  It was just a conversation about home remodeling(she’s redoing her bathroom but the tiles are wrong), not an emergency of any kind.

Why?  Why in the world do people feel the need to inflict their private phone conversations on the general public?  I’m not interested.  Neither are you.  Yet the entire building heard every word(the post office echoes).  There was no getting away from it.  Did I mention she was speaking loudly?  Sure, this is a first world problem. Sure, it’s not really that big of a deal.  Still, have some respect for the people around you.  Maybe tell the person on the other end you’ll call them back in a few minutes when you get back to your car?  Maybe lower your voice?  Maybe stick that phone wear the sun don’t shine.

That’s it.  That’s all I got today.  File it under the Craigslist rants & raves.
