Refugee update

As I wrote about the other day, there is a great deal of fear and confusion regarding admitting the Syrian refugees into the U.S.  Check this link out for more information on the actual vetting process of refugees who want to come here.

It would be so refreshing to hear actual facts about this process from the republican presidential candidates. Instead, all we hear from them is misinformation that does nothing but gin up fear.

I thought we were supposed to be better than this?  These people need our help and we are in a position to help them.  Is there  risk involved?  Maybe.  It seems very unlikely though that, if terrorists do come here, they will do it this way.  Are we going to help our fellow man or reject them out of fear?  You know where I stand.
